Why old people have Big Nose and Big Ears, not other parts? || Science

Cells are the building blocks of our body, the human body is composed of trillions of cells. There are dozens of cells type in our body. As we grow, the number of cells in our body increase.

Most Males stop growing by the age of 20 whereas most Females stop growing at the age of 18. By this age our body is fully developed but there are two body parts that never stop growing that is our Nose and our Ears.

Our nose and ears are made of Cartilage. Cartilage is that plastic - like stuff in Ears and Nose. As we grow old, Cartilage break down and gravity does its works of pulling it down at a rate of above 22 milimeters per year. That's why old people have large nose and large ears.
